I am back home in Whitehorse now  having a great start to fall. After an intensive 4 week training block, I took a little break to recharge for a big push this fall. I am feeling rested and ready to do some tough workouts with the Yukon Ski Team as well as some I have planned on my own.

This season, I decided to volunteer with the Purple Squad-a YST training group aged 11-12. I am looking forward to working once a week with my first ski coach Nick Stratis and come up with some fun games and exercises for this energetic crew.

This past weekend, I helped out with the Green Squad welcome back camp out at Kathleen Lake. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot from great volunteer coaches like Perry Hynes, Mandy McClung and Véronique Theriault . It was a great camp full of games, hiking, cooking and ski walking.
